Living in California I’m influenced by all kinds of flavors and colors from my everyday life. I wanted to do a Freestyle board featuring 3 stellar California made cheeses and some fruits, veggies, and snacks like spicy tortilla chips, mango with ,mulberries like the ones that grow around my neighborhood and more.

Dear Friends and Food Lovers - please take a moment to read some important announcements.

We’re so lucky to have a generous and supportive community. We appreciate every one of you!

It’s no secret that the pandemic has been especially hard for small businesses, especially in the food industry. Two years of supply chain interruptions, price increases, delayed shipments, and very slow downtown foot traffic have made “business as usual” impossible.

The New Year brought us a new opportunity to evaluate what has worked and what hasn’t for the Lowell Culinary Collaborative. After lots of thought, sleepless nights, and difficult decisions, we’re going to make some important changes so that the business can survive and (we hope) even thrive in 2022. So here goes:

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

1. NEW RETAIL HOURS: our shop at 160 Merrimack Street in downtown Lowell will be open for in-store shopping on Thursday/Friday/Saturday from 11am to 6pm.

2. DELIVERY & PICKUP OPTIONS: We want to share good food with you! Our plan for local delivery and pickup through a new online ordering system is almost complete. Look for an announcement with details in the next week or two.

3. CULINARY EXPERIENCES: We’re planning MORE classes, events, and tastings this year, both in person at our Western Ave. tasting space and virtually on Zoom. Follow us at www.lowellculinary.eventbrite.com for updates to our event calendar.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS: Weekly and monthly cheese, wine, and confectionary subscriptions are in the works, too, beginning next month. Details to come in our newsletter (subscribe at http://eepurl.com/dHgaBr).

Have you tasted Ratafia Champenois? It’s a rare specialty from Champagne, sort of a brandy/dessert wine cousin. It’s sweet and decadent and DELICIOUS with blues. We’ll have a little bit for tasting on Weds/Thursday this week if you’re curious.
