Bananas Foster French toast anyone?! ☕️🥞🍌

A brunch favorite! Fluffy brioche french toast topped with a caramelized brown sugar banana topping. Here is how we serve up this decadent brunch dish 😍

Ingredients ⤵️
🍞 French Toast
- 1 loaf brioche bread (I love TraderJoe’s brand)
- 4 large eggs
- ⅔ cups milk
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
🍌 Bananas Foster Sauce
- ⅓ cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 ripe bananas sliced

Instructions ⤵️
- Preheat the griddle to 275°F.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs.
- Add milk, brown sugar, and vanilla to the egg mixture, and beat until combined.
- Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture and place on the griddle, cooking 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. - Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large stainless steel skillet, melt dark brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and stir until a light boil begins.
- Add the bananas in a single layer and cook for 1 minute, then flip the bananas to make sure they’re coated in the sauce.
- Top the french toast with the banana mixture and enjoy.
