This year’s theme is Full of Grace: The Theotokos in the Life of the Church. Our goal this year is to provide our children with opportunities to learn about our Church's rich traditions, teachings, and reverence to the Theotokos and build a foundation of devotion that children can actively integrate into their lives, both at home and in the church.
The general schedule for each evening will be as follows:
5:30 p.m. - Drop off
5:35 - 6:00 p.m. - Dinner with learning activity
6:00 - 6:45 p.m. - Learning activities, stories/teachings, and crafts
*6:45 - 7:00 p.m. - Pick up time and "quieting" activity (to transition children to join their friends and families for the Paraklesis services on Wednesday and Thursday evenings in the church)
7:00 p.m. - Parish Hall CLOSED (please note that children will not be allowed to stay in the parish hall or courtyard and play during the Paraklesis services so as not to distract worshipers, so pick-up time is strict. However, we encourage everyone to join us at 7:00 p.m. in the church on these evenings and apply what they have learned in VCC!)
If you have any questions or concerns or would like to volunteer with this year’s Vacation Church Camp, please let Dk. Brandi Schreiber know at [email protected] or (806) 786-9864.
We hope to see all our children there!
