The Free Clinic
The Free Clinic is a student-run initiative that offers medical services to the uninsured patrons of Lubbock, Texas.
Each week, physicians, nurses, social workers, and medical students volunteer to provide acute medical care, health education, and social resource counseling for local community health insurance programs. The mission of the Clinic is two-fold: to serve the indigent community of Lubbock and provide clinical education to TTUHSC medical students. Since opening in August of 2009, the Clinic has seen o

Hello all! We are excited to announce our spring Women's Health Day event, which will be held on April 27th from 10am to 1pm! We offer a preventative care visit including STI testing, cervical cancer screenings, breast/colon screening referrals, and more! This event is by appointment only, for women age 18-64 who are not insured. Please call us at 806-370-7472 or email [email protected] to make an appointment!

An important announcement! We are pleased to report that the Lubbock Health Department will be having a vaccine clinic on March 20th outside of Lubbock Impact! If you or someone you know is in need of free vaccines, please come from 4-6pm and receive them. No appointment with the Free Clinic is needed. See y'all there!

UMC cancer center (602 Indiana Ave) is hosting the Stick&Treat event for free cancer screenings and education! They will offer mammograms, pap smears, breast and cervical screenings. This is TOMORROW 10AM-2PM walk in and no appointment needed

The Lubbock Health Department will be administering FREE VACCINES this upcoming Wednesday 6/16/2021 from 3-5 pm at The Free Clinic! This is open to anyone without medical insurance. A limited amount of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine will also be available.

Some information about who is recommended to received each vaccine is below. Click the Messenger button below to send us questions you may have!
HPV vaccine:
-Preteens/teens ages 9-14 (2 doses) as a part of the routine vaccine schedule
-Teens/adults ages 15-26 (3 doses) if you haven't received the vaccine
Tdap vaccine:
- Infants- age 6 as a part of the routine vaccine schedule
- Preteens age 7-18 as a part of their routine vaccine schedule
- Adults age 19+ should receive it every 10 years
Shingles vaccine:
-Adults age 50+
Pneumonia vaccine:
- Adults age 65+
MMR vaccine:
-A part of routine childhood vaccines:
-first dose at age 12-15 months
-second dose at age 4-6
-Any adult who has not received the MMR vaccine
Hepatitis A vaccine:
A part of routine childhood vaccines:
-first dose at age 12-23 months
-second dose at age 2-3 years
-Any adult at risk for hepatitis A
Hepatitis B vaccine:
-3 doses between birth and 18 months as a part of the routine vaccine schedule
-Any adule at risk for heptatis B
Chickenpox vaccine:
A part of routine childhood vaccines:
-first does at age 12-15 months
-second dose at age 4-6 years
-Any adult who hasn't received the vaccine and hasn't had chickenpox
Meningitis vaccine:
-2 dose for youth ages 11-18
-Anyone at risk for meningitis
