Hello Everyone! This information has filtered out in a few places, but we want to confirm that we are indeed having a plant sale this year! It will be one day only, Friday, May 12th, from 10 am - 4 pm. A few things to note: we will be accepting cash only (no checks or credit/debit cards); it's helpful if you can bring extra boxes, and please, no pre-sales (we are trying to save inventory for sale day). We hope to see you on the 12th!
The Edmonds College campus is still closed to the public due to Covid-19, and as a result, we will NOT be having our Mother's Day weekend plant sale this year. We are sad to have to cancel for the second time, but we hope to be back soon!
Hello everyone,
I haven't been told when we can have sales yet. I cant even guess. We are in the midst of some terrific plants that were grown for the March and May sales. We had to cull annuals that take up space and time. So sad, but due to this pandemic we understand. We couldn't even give them away. Plant exchanges of any kind were not allowed. I was alone for several weeks caring for plants and deciding what plants to focus on for the future.
There are four of us now, on and off, and our focus is transplanting and growing on the plants best suited for the next possible sale. And concentrating on social distancing. We have terrific stock and look forward to the time we can open the gates to the public. It is way to quiet here!! When we can open we will let you know. Happily. Thank you for all your past support, we miss our plant loving people. Good health to all,
Linda

We are very excited for our upcoming sale this Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th! Here are a few tips to ensure you have the best experience:
1. Please park in the northeast campus parking lot. It is normally a student lot, but Friday is a non-instructional day, so students will not be on campus. Please don’t park in the lot in front of the Hort building (Firdale).
2. We accept cash and checks for payment. No credit or debit cards.
3. We always run out of boxes, so if you can bring your own, we appreciate it!
4. Please, no pre-sales. We want to ensure the best selection for everyone on Friday.
We hope to see you there! 💐🌷🌹🥀🌺🍃☘️

We had a very successful wreath making event, thanks to all the people who have been coming for many years. We met many new people also, the turnout was wonderful.
We are starting to prep for the upcoming Mothers Day Sale. Also we are going to try to have a couple smaller sales for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick day also. More information to come soon.
Mama cat is happy and fat, sleeping away the cold days. No rodents around here! Except squirrels.
Have a great New Year, and thank you again for your support.
Thanks to everyone who has sent comments about the greenhouse. We are in the middle of wreath making right now so it's very busy. We will continue to make wreaths through the 15th. After that we will start gearing up for winter quarter. Hopefully everyone will have a great break, and keep safe and warm.
An extra note on next week's Mother's Day Plant Sale: the EdCC pottery department will be selling their lovely wares at the sale on Friday only. Cash or checks, only, please!
Our biggest sale of the year is coming up in two weeks! Friday, May 11th and Saturday, May 12th, from 10 am - 4 pm each day. We have all of our usual favorites, including fuchsias, coleus, geraniums, succulents, and much more! Hope to see you then. We accept cash and checks. Sorry, no credit or debit cards.
Don’t forget about our St. Patrick’s Day sale today at the greenhouse, from 10 am - 4 pm! A late development is that a number of used garden tools will be available for sale today at VERY reasonable prices, among them shovels, rakes, and even a couple of pickaxes. We hope to see you soon! 🌲☘️🌲🌺
We have been crazy busy, with wreaths and getting ready for our conifer ID class. Now our nursery greenhouse class will be crazy busy preparing for a March sale and our Mothers day sale in May. We have been working around construction workers while they install our new heating system. (Almost done now).
Table space is becoming rarer every day. Greenhouse 4 is full. We will have great plants for our sales this year, and we also have some unusual plants to just look at.
Friday is our class in the greenhouse so the rest of the week you are welcome to come for a sneak peek to see some of what will be available this spring. 10 AM to 4PM are visiting hours. Closed Fridays and Weekends.
We wish everyone a great New Year.
