An unusual Walnut and Ash, brick-style, Pink Floyd “The Wall” cutting board with metallic charcoal epoxy inlay. This is the “water pop” step before final sanding and finishing.

Solid Zebrawood cutting board! To tell the truth, it took forever and was a giant pain in the butt… but it sure is pretty!
Some woodshop ASMR for you! I’m using a damp paper towel to “raise the grain“ on this huge, solid Osage Orange cutting board. This process makes the finished board smoother, and gives us a glimpse at how the wood will look when finish is applied later.

A local musician contacted me to make him a “small lime-cutting board in Cherry and Maple” for his home bar. I thought this was appropriate! Bonus feature: you can hang it on a standard guitar hanger!

Christmas reflections:
2022 was a busy year for the shop. I completed over 70 projects, from small veggie cutting boards to huge custom countertops and bars. Pieces were shipped to 20 states, and our online following grew to 5400 users.
I am looking forward to new and more ambitious projects in 2023. Thank you so much for your support. Your word of mouth, shares, and recommendations are the best advertising my shop has!

Interestingly... the French don't call it a charcuterie board, but rather a "presentation plank" or an "appetizer plank”.
