Holy Cow Food Truck

Come join St. John's Lutheran Church of Oregon, WI and the Holy COW as we raise funds for the Oregon Area Food Pantry. We will be at Triangle Park in beautiful downtown Oregon, WI from 5-7 tonight (August 7th). We will be serving up mac'n cheese with a choice of toppings along with Butter Chicken rice bowls. Come join the Holy COW this weekend as we continue our busy summer schedule. Friday night we are at Good Shepherd's Verona campus from 5-7 for Family Fun Night. On Saturday, we travel to Middleton to celebrate all things mustard at the Great Mustard Festival in downtown Middleton, WI. We'll be there serving up grilled cheese sandwiches from 10-4. Finally, on Monday we continue the weekend with an international flavored Music Monday from 5-7 at Good Shepherd's Madison Campus. We're raising funds for Team World Vision and serving up foods from Italy, India, the Congo and Korea. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events.

On Wisconsin- Join us tonight for another Music Monday!

Music Monday tonight features members of the Badger Band: The University of Wisconsin Marching Band with food starting at 5 p.m. from the Holy Cow Food Truck and the concert starting at 6 p.m.! This event is rain or shine - we'll see you at Madison Campus tonight!

Today the Holy COW had the honor of donating $400 from our Music Monday event on June 24th to Happy Feet of Madison to provide socks to people in need in our community. To learn more about Happy Feet of Madison, go to their website at: https://www.happyfeetofmadison.org/

Our next event is tomorrow (Wednesday, July 17th) at the Verona Campus of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. It is the annual Trivia Under the Tent, and it starts at 6:30. The Holy COW will be serving up appetizers and dishing ice cream. Hope to see you there.

Due to the high humidity and likelihood of storms, the Holy COW is canceling tonight's meal and produce event at Meadowood Park. You can still come visit us this week at Badger Prairie Needs Network on Tuesday morning (7/16) from 9:30-noon and at Trivia Under the Tent on Wednesday (7/16) from 6:30-8:00 at the Verona campus.

The Holy COW will be serving up walking tacos and Mexican rice bowls on Wednesday, July 10th at Meadowood Park from 5-7 p.m. Besides the food there will be activities for kids and Guardians of the Galaxy will be playing on a big screen in the park starting at 6:30. Enjoy a night out getting to know your neighbors. Hope to see you there.

The Holy COW made an almost $700 donation to the Oregon Area Food Pantry today from an event we did with St. John's Lutheran Church in Oregon. We'll be doing 2 more events in August, one on the 7th and the other on the 28th to feed the hungry in Oregon. Hope to see you there.

Enjoy another Music Monday on the lawn of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5701 Raymond Rd, Madison. The Holy COW will be serving up a pasta bar with buttered noodles, alfredo/marinara sauces, chicken or sausage with a bread stick. All meals are pay-what-you-can and proceeds will be going to Underdog tonight. Enjoy some good music and good food from 5-7 tonight(Monday).

Join us tonight, Monday, July 1st at Meadowood Park for the 1st of our summer meal and free produce events. We will be there from 5:00 until 6:30. We will be dishing up pasta with marinara or alfredo sauce, roasted vegetables, grilled chicken or sausage. You will also get a breadstick and a cookie. Vanilla and chocolate ice cream will be available as well. Hope to see you there!

The next Holy Cow Food Truck event will be at Eplegaarden on Saturday, May 4th. The event runs 10-3:00 and we will be there serving up delicious food from 11:00-1:00. We hope to see you there.

The food cart season is heating up. The Holy Cow Food Truck was at Badger Prairie Needs Network yesterday serving up breakfast wraps, scrambled eggs, bacon, roasted potatoes with peppers, grilled cheese and quesadillas. The Holy Cow Food Truck can't get out for the season quite yet, but... you can come to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (Madison Campus) for a FREE pancake dinner TOMORROW (2/13) at 5:30pm! Join us for Pancake Day/Shrove Tuesday - the day before the season of Lent for pancakes, bacon and all the fixings! You might just spot our own Food Truck manager, Rick Thomas flipping pancakes :)

What a wonderful day the Holy Cow Food Truck Crew had at the Siebert Lutheran Foundation Conference in Milwaukee yesterday! Thanks for letting us share our food truck ministry journey!

Join the COW at Zook Park, 950 Pontiac Trail, Madison, WI this Saturday (10/21/23) from 8:30-10:00 for coffee and Just Bakery treats. There are only 3 COW events after this one before we shut down for the winter so we hope to see you there.

Join the Moo Crew tonight at Meadowood Park from 5:00-6:30. We'll be serving hot dogs, brats, veggie brats and burgers. We'll also have free produce available for all. This will be our last event of the year at Meadowood Park, so come on out.

Summer of 2023 was amazing- we served over 6000 meals, hired our very first Holy COW intern and had over 40 volunteers helping out! Thank you for supporting the Holy Cow Food Truck!

The Holy COW continues to be busy as the summer winds down. We have the following events coming up during the next week.
-Wednesday, August 16th is a Dance Party under the tent at the Verona campus (7291 Hwy. PD). Appetizers and ice cream will be served.
-Thursday, August 17th is worship at Meister Park in Verona. Hope you can make it there to enjoy a meal and worship time together. from 5:30-7:00.
-Saturday, August 19th we will be at Brittingham Park supporting the Road Home. We'll be serving beverages and desserts as our guests enjoy a picnic and receive school supplies for the upcoming school year.
-Monday, August 21st we will be enjoying the last Music Monday of the summer on the shady lawn of the Madison campus (5701 Raymond Rd). We'll be serving walking taco salads and chocolate chip cookies. Hope to see you there.
