Everyone loves a big check and we had another big check presentation today. This time it was $25,000 to Northcentral Technical College, which won a Youth Firefighter Training Program grant, along with partners Colby School District, School District of Abbotsford, and Central Fire & EMS District.

It was a beautiful day in Neenah to highlight a wonderful collaboration. Thank you to Fox Valley Technical College for inviting Secretary Hereth to participate in the ribbon-cutting for this ADA-compliant home built by FVTC Residential Building Construction students for Covey, a non-profit committed to providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities. In this case, a custom-design home for four of those individuals.

DSPS Secretary Dan Hereth joined Wisconsin Dental Association President Chris Hansen and Marquette School of Dentistry Dean Elsbeth Kalenderian to celebrate 2024 dentistry grads who are choosing to practice in Wisconsin and, as a result, will receive their dentist license within three days of graduation. Secretary Hereth has lunch with staff, in person and video conference, for Public Service Recognition Week. A perfect event for him, combining his loves for sub sandwiches and good conversation.
