1. We have a volunteer event scheduled! Come volunteer at Henry Vilas Zoo at their event, Zoo Lights, on December 5th at 5:30-9:00! Volunteers will be helping around the carousal, at the gate, and helping with pictures with Santa! This is a fun opportunity to go to the zoo and hang out with kids! There are 10 spots available. Here are a few reminders about the important upcoming events we have going on!
1.We will be hosting a study session with the board members next Tuesday, November 12th from 6-8pm in Room M279 of Memorial Library. Bring a friend and work on homework together! This is also a great opportunity to get to know the board members and ask questions about the club!
2. Thank you to those who attended the resume building workshop yesterday! We hope you gained useful skills to perfect your resume!
The next session is on November 19th (for juniors and seniors) in Room 2191D of College Library. There are still spots available, so please sign up!
John Mirasola, head of employee services at the Epilepsy Foundation, will be leading this workshop. There are two more sessions, each lasting 45 minutes. The maximum number of people per session is 3 people. However, there is a waitlist underneath each section if you'd like to hold a place in case someone cancels.

We hope midterms are going well for everyone! Here are just a few things to look out for coming up!
1. We are hosting a Resume Building Workshop with John Mirasola. John Mirasola is head of employee services at the Epilepsy Foundation. This will take place on November 5th (for freshmen and sophomores) and November 19th (for juniors and seniors). There are four sessions (one for juniors and seniors), each lasting 45 minutes. The maximum number of people per session is 3 people. However, there is a wait list if you'd like to hold a place in case someone cancels. This is a really great opportunity since this is a customized workshop that you would normally have to pay for, but NSCS is offering it for free!
