And of course thank you to our wonderful artists and customers who make it all possible! 💛
✨New Artist Alert!
Mike Bass of Wisco-Mythos and Zip-Dang is the newest artist to join the gallery here at Hatch with a selection of his folklore inspired prints. His work draws from all sorts of stories, including tales of ghosts, cryptids, and local legends. But what we especially love about his work is that many of the stories take place in locations that are more than a little familiar - like the W***y Street Cowboy, or a ghost said to haunt neighborhood favorite Mickey's Tavern.
Mike's prints cover a wide range of tales from across Wisconsin - so be sure to stop in soon to see them all!
W***y St Cowboy

✨New Artist Spotlight!✨
Stephanie Barenz is one of the newest artists to join Hatch Art House and we are so excited to share her work. Much of Stephanie's work is inspired by water - resulting in deep beautiful blues and evocative landscapes. Stephanie describes her process as "fluid," making use of several methods, including printmaking, collage, painting, and digital photography.
You can now find a selection of Stephanie's prints and cards here at Hatch - just in time for holiday shopping!
🤩 Thank you for including Hatch artists in this local female talent feature! 3 Hatch artists were selected, including myself (Tammy Schreiter) and my giclee of “Low Tide”, Jenny Blasen, and her popular Madison dish, and Rachel Johnson and a pair of her upcycled wood earrings. Love everything on this page!🫶
✨The Artist Reception for Zoe Frances Craig is tonight! 5-9pm. Zoe will be here to answer all your artsy questions.✨She’s been busy making prints and pottery so you have a nice selection to choose from! See you tonight!
✨Gallery Night is this Friday! Hatch will be hosting our Artist Reception from 5-9pm, featuring the work of potter and printmaker Zoe Craig.

✨Join us next Friday for Gallery Night! For the month of November, Hatch Art House will be featuring the work of local potter and printmaker Zoe Frances Craig, with an Artist Reception on Friday November 3rd from 5pm-9pm.
Based in Viroqua, Zoe aims "to explore and communicate themes of place and landscape, including the smaller and larger ways that we all interact with and relate to the natural world and the things in it." Both her ceramics and relief prints showcase this goal, pairing bold lines and shapes with delicate natural details.
✨We just expanded our print selection with the addition of Madison artist and graphic designer Olivia Booth!
Olivia creates digital illustrations of still lifes, animals, faces, and dancers. She loves exploring how colors, shapes, and lines can be combined to create 2D images full of emotion. We have a variety of prints by Olivia in the gallery now - we are so excited to have her as a Hatch artist and we can't wait for you to come by and see her work in person!
Alexis Arnold of Scorpio Encaustics recently joined us here at Hatch! We have a selection of her surealist encaustic pieces in the gallery now, including these two!
Alexis combines collage work with encaustic wax to create this pieces that a definitely worth a closer look. So stop in soon to check them out!

✨We have one more new jeweler to welcome to Hatch this month, and we are so excited to share her work with you! Erin Enk is a jewelry artist based in Stevens Point who uses copper electroforming to create her beautiful rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings.
Erin loves working with electroforming because it is "a perfect combination of art and science." Her work showcases the natural beauty of gemstones paired with the science of electroforming to create pieces that emerge with their own new unique characteristics each time.
The copper plated ginkgo leaf necklace is one of our favorites, but it's definitely worth it to stop in for a closer look at all of Erin's work!
🌻 Madison potter, Gloria Van Dixhorn just restocked us with a whole new batch of mugs and sippers! These mushroom mug and sunflower mugs are some of our favorites!🍄
What is your favorite drink to enjoy out of a beautiful, locally made mug?
✨ Today we are so excited to welcome another jeweler/artist to Hatch Art House! Stacey M Stewartson of Maebel Jewelry recently brought us a selection of her beautiful earrings, all made from salvaged leather. Stacey loves to work with color and patterns, which can be seen in her choices of bold colors and shapes.
Each pair of her earrings is unique and would make a great addition to anyone's jewelry collection - the perfect accessory to liven up an outfit!
Stacey also creates intricate patchwork leather artwork, which you can now find on the walls at Hatch too! Be sure to stop in soon to take a closer look!
✨ Besides showcasing a wide variety of local art, Hatch also carries an extensive collection of jewelry by local makers. We think jewelry making is an art in itself! So we are always excited to bring in new jewelers to the store - like one of our newest artists, Lauren Kurten Siegenthaler of Erda + Arch!
Now based in New Glarus, but originally from St Louis, MO, Lauren chose a name that represents both of her homes. Erda is the Swiss-German word for earth and Arch represents the St Louis Arch!
Lauren creates earrings from polymer clay and her designs range from simple and elegant to bright and bold. Each pair is incredibly lightweight and so unique it's like wearing your own personal art piece!
Which style is your favorite? Be sure to stop in soon and help us welcome Lauren to Hatch Art House!
✨We haven’t had a chance to spotlight our very own gallery assistant, Anna Koehne, as an official Hatch Artist yet so here’s a big welcome post to !
