This spoke to me across the span of the garage sale - then we opened it up and I saw the hand appliquéd Butterflies and Flowers - the deal was sealed when I saw the color choice for the back and it was DATED - so sad that she didn’t put her name on it - PACKED with tiny quilting stitches - this quilt quickly went to the head of the line for quality / hand craftsmanship - next to my Grandmothers Flower Garden - buy the best and leave the rest - this will stand the test of time for Classic vintage quilts - the color just POPS - see how she gave you a HINT what that backing would be in the flower buds - FABULOUS - Good condition - No holes or stains that I have seen - measures 74 x 92 - $295 - located / pickup in Madison

16 blocks - Hand Embroidered with all different flowers - lovely Lavendar Blocks to accent them - minimal hand quilting - the border is a nice wide ecru Strip w the same lavender binding along the edge - thin sheet batting so I call it a summer quilt - has ALL the charm you look for in a vintage quilt - I have not washed this - it does carry a couple storage stains which I am Pointing at in the picture - measures 64 x 80 - $80 - located / pickup in Madiso. - No Holds unless paid for via Venmo

1980’s Quilt that is crossed stitched embroidered by hand - hand quilted by the church ladies at St Bonifacius in Columbus - LARGE - I get request for Queen/King size quilts and that just doesn’t happen in vintage quilts - the modern ones are generally machine quilt - Whelp this has both the size AND hand done - I washed it for its very first time and it came out beautifully - this was a quilt block kit and in some areas you can slightly see the blue hem line - shown in a close up - measures 96 x 112 - bottom corners are rounded - SO PRETTY - let’s get this on its new forever bed (lol) this coming week - the white won’t work well at Junk Jaunt but if not sold - it will make it on the trailer - $60!!!!! Cold Upstairs Farmhouse Bedroom Quilt - My Grandma talked about waking up w a dusting of snow on her bed - THIS type quilt would of been on her bed - thick - tie quilted - Feedsack fabric on front and back - SO RUSTIC Farmhouse look - great for at the foot of your bed to pull up in the middle of the night - PERFECT for camper / cabin this fall - pretty sure it has never been washed - some fading in the tan fabric that is used thru out the quilt - no holes or frays - it has such a HOMEY look/feel - measures 70 x 84 - $60 - located / pickup in Madison - No holds unless paid for via Venmo

I LOVE vintage Quilts !!! WOW - Large and in Charge - this quilt Top measures 86 x 106 - I had to take it outside so that I could get a good FULL picture of it - when pictured on the bed - I could of buried a whole block row tucking it under the pillows and still have enough quilt to cover - and LOOK at that border all done for you - this is a quilt top but I know a talented lady with a long arm and this could easily become a completed quilt and THINK what you would have - all of that is hand appliquéd onto ecru blocks - even that scalloped border - just LOOK at her tiny stitches - this is a quilt TOP - think outside the box on these - tablecloth - backdrop on a wall - material for a project - added color for your primitive decor without the bulk of a full quilt- I did find a storage stain in one corner and have it pictured - there might be a couple other tiny spots but I am not seeing them - just be aware - $110 - located/pickup in Madison - No Holds unless paid for via Venmo - check out the whole inventory of 2k’s Quilts on our page- two other quilt tops from this estate sale are listed - them mosey over to 2k’s Antiques and Other Junk for MORE Treasures

Color me surprised - I just about didn’t get this quilt top cuz I thought it didn’t have the “right” color - I just opened it up for the first time when taking its pictures and what a PRETTY piece of work - that DARK Navy blue has a sheen to it - next to the ecru and THAT pattern choice - it is very eye catching - it is quite large also - measuring 84 x 96 - machine pieces - think outside the box on quilt tops - they can be used for table clothes - material for a projects - or as a nice decor addition that isnt so bulky as a completed quilt and yet adds that primitive touch and color - $75 - located / Pickup in Madison - no holds unless paid for via Venmo - I will have a total of three from this estate sale (other two coming soon) and other quilt tops also listed

Kinda lost my head over this little jewel - Doll quilt in the Grandmothers Flower Garden Pattern - I am not sure if she will make it out to the back shed or become part of my personal stash - right now she just enjoyed a bath and now some fresh breeze and sunshine is bringing her out of her long sleep - lol

An amazing Friendship Quilt from the Mt Vernon South Dakota Area - Star pattern in feedsack material - towns included are Mt Vernon , Letcher, Woonsocket, Brookings and Mitchell South Dakota - Seattle Washington and several from Akron Iowa - LOOK at the back - four feedsacks sewn together - it is not professionally finished - the top folded over the head and foot of the quilt - onto the back - But I bet it kept its owners warm in those cold South Dakota nights - there is a think layer in the middle that probably is a blanket or older/worn quilt - used as its batting - the edges are scalloped on two edges with no backing on them - shown in pictures - tie quilted - I am putting the named blocks in the comments below - it measures 72 x 78 in - $100 - NO HOLDS unless paid for via Venmo - located / Pickup In Madison

Have had some interest in this quilt all ready - here she is on a full bed - measures 68 x 74 and that is at its longest edge - a bit less w the scalloped - some bleeding on one block and also on the back - this was soaked and washed and it did lighten some but believe it will always be there even after a few washings - she has some seams that are open and a couple of holes but they are NOT glaring or really bad - just needs mentioning - she is out of South Dakota from a 80+ FIESTY ol Lady - Her Grandma made it but it still could be as new as the 1950’s / 1960’s - if her Grandma also lived to a ripe ol age - the calico has quite a bit of feedsack but the solids I am thinking is a newer fabric - look at all the pics provided - $100 - Located / pickup in Madison - no holds unless paid for via Venmo
