UWPD and MPD are looking for two men who are connected to a string of e-bike and e-scooter thefts downtown. They're also suspects in several other crimes.

If you know them or have any information, please call 608-264-2677 or submit a tip on the BadgerSAFE app.

There's been a noticeable increase in e-bike and e-scooter thefts on campus. In fact, four thefts were reported to UWPD in just the last 24 hours.

Thefts are never the fault of the victim. Please consider the following to potentially prevent similar crimes from occurring in the future:

✅ Purchase an anti-theft device or a heavy-duty lock for your bike or scooter
✅ Consider parking in a garage or other secure area
✅ Park in visible, well-lit areas
✅ Record serial numbers and take photos of your bike and/or scooter.
✅ Be sure to IMMEDIATELY report a theft to UWPD. Time is of the essence.
