We are a collective of birth professionals who support underrepresented women, birthing people, and families through both birthing services and community advocacy.

Our mission is to dismantle disparities of race, class, gender, and sexuality that lead to negative birth experiences; especially for women of color, women with economic barriers, survivors of trauma, immigrant women, as well as q***r and transgender folx.

We put mothers, birthing parents, and babies first, working effectively with their entire support team including partners, family members, and midwives or medical personnel to provide well-rounded care.

Madison clinic provides free specialty care to uninsured, low-income Wis. residents Martin said over 40 physicians donate their time to make sure the over 160,000 uninsured Wisconsin residents have a place to turn.

Our founders, our volunteers, our referring physicians, our supporters - today we celebrate YOU and the difference you are making in the lives of so many women! 💜

Let's flashback with some pictures of the Grand Opening of Share The Health Free Gynecology Clinic!

We opened our doors in January 2014 and on Day 1 we provided 7 patients with free care, including 4 pelvic ultrasounds, 2 biopsies, and 1 blood draw. 🎉

Since then we've served hundreds of women, worked with so many incredible volunteers, moved locations, acquired advanced technology for further testing, and have collaborated with community partners to extend our reach.

It is our mission to:
◼ Fill the gap and avoid duplication of any services in the Madison area.
◼ Improve the health of underserved women in need of gynecologic specialty care.
◼ Inspire a commitment among future professionals, of all vocations, to caring for the underserved in our communities.

If you've volunteered, cheered us on, donated money, referred patients to us, inspired us, or visited us over the past 9+ years, we thank you! 😊
