We posted yesterday news of the explosion and casualties at the Al Ahri Hospital in Gaza that left hundreds dead. While the cause of the explosions is disputed, hundreds were killed. As I mentioned on Sunday, thousands of people had sought refuge there from the Israeli attacks on Gaza. We join in this effort with the Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem, the leading ecumenical group representing senior Christian leaders in the region, which includes Archbishop Hosam Naoum of The Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East.
