IMSLEC accredited and IDA accredited program providing free tutoring to children ages 7-17 with dyslexia in the Madison area.
Every year at the Walk for Dyslexia, the art on the shirts is designed by a student. This year's art was designed by Jaden! His family joined him at the walk where he was honored for his design.

Brother Michael Stadler, a member of the Valley of Madison who teaches high school English at St. John's Northwestern Academy in Delafield, recently presented a generous check to the Children's Dyslexia Center of Madison.
Brother Stadler is the advisor for their Chapter of the National English Honor Society, which held a read-a-thon as a fall fundraiser. They have graciously donated the funds to our Center. Brother Michael is in the center of the photo.

WISCONSIN, January 9, 2024â Childrenâs Dyslexia Center of the Madison Area announced today that the volunteer service of a team of New York Life employees and agents from New York Lifeâs Wisconsin General Office resulted in a $9,261 Volunteers for Good Team Grant to the organization. The support will help to provide dyslexia tutoring to children.
The Volunteers for Good Program recognizes and encourages the group efforts of New York Lifeâs employees, retirees, and agents. Qualified teams may apply for a grant for nonprofit organizations where they volunteer their time.

Walk for Dyslexia 2024
Families and community members can gather in beautiful spring weather to make strides against dyslexia or participate with a virtual option. On Saturday, May 18, 2024, the public is invited to join in the Walk for Dyslexia to benefit the Madison Area Childrenâs Dyslexia Center, which offers free, individualized tutoring for Dane County children who struggle with reading, writing, and spelling. In-person registration will begin at 7:30 am at Brittingham Park (829 W. Washington Avenue, Madison, WI). The 5K walk/fun run will start at 8:30 am.
Walk for Dyslexia 2024 The Walk for Dyslexia 2024 is on Saturday May 18, 2024. It includes the following events: 5K Walk/Fun Run (In-Person) and 5K Walk (Virtual).

Celebrate Dyslexia Awareness Month with the Center! We are partnering with Madison Public Library for a free screening of The Right to Read on Monday, October 9 at 6 p.m.
The new documentary from Executive Producer LeVar Burton is 71 minutes long. A light dinner will be served before the screening, and we will follow up with a moderated discussion.
