We brewed up some fun last month with our 4th annual Barista Games! From bean battles to latte showdowns, our team had a blast! 😉

November Specials are live! Here's the rundown:

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte- Crave those crazy squares in this breakfast cereal-inspired latte with flavors of cinnamon, vanilla, and honey.

Caramel Apple Cider- Hot apple cider is mixed with caramel to create a caramel apple cider.

Praline Cream Cold Brew- This creamy special consists of a brown sugar cold brew, topped with a creamy praline cold foam.

Pumpkin Chai- We are still feeling the pumpkin vibes and what better way to celebrate this than with the beloved chai.

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between a light and dark roast? If you order brewed coffee, you'll know we always ask if you want the light or dark roast, so here are some differences between the two!

Light roast coffee tends to have fruitier and brighter taste notes. That's because the coffee bean is not roasted at a very high temperature, which allows these notes (and caffeine content) to stay intact. Darker roast coffee beans are darker brown and oils are released onto the bean in the roasting process, which adds to the flavor. If you like cream in your coffee, it generally compliments a dark roast better, and if you like your coffee black, the light roast might be a good choice!

We know you waited all of September for pumpkin spice to make its appearance, and it's finally here for the season! We've got it for your lattes and we've also got some pumpkin treats too! Look in our bakery case for the new pumpkin spice muffin (it's seriously SO GOOD... think pumpkin pie filling in muffin form) and pumpkin spice coffee cake. So much goodness to fulfill your fall needs!

October is the month that encompasses the best parts of fall. Make sure you stop in this month to really indulge in the fall season and warm up on those brisk, chilly days! We have lots of fall flavors for October, including much adored pumpkin!

🔥 Campfire Latte: Although you may be off to work or school, pretend you’re sitting around a warm fire with friends and family with the Campfire Latte! This latte tastes much like a s’more with dark chocolate and toasted marshmallow.

🎃 Pumpkin Spice Latte: Simple, but splendid. This special adds flavors of pumpkin spice to your classic latte.

🫖 Pumpkin London Fog: We’re putting a fall twist on a classic drink! Try this tea steamer made of earl grey tea, milk, and flavors of pumpkin pie!

🍂 Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew: The long awaited cold brew with a scrumptious pumpkin pie flavored cold foam on top. This beverage will be a staple for your month!

Now that is officially here, you know we've got the Harvest Blend coffee from and it's really one of their best. Make sure to try it the next time you see it up in rotation!

Woohoo, we are SO excited that September is here! That means more smiling faces and the air will start getting a litttttle bit more crisp, and that fall flavors will be coming sooooon! We have a little taste of fall in some of our specials this month, but we aren't going full force just yet! Check out our September specials:

Cinnamon Maple Latte- Hot espresso is combined with maple syrup and cinnamon before topping with steamed milk.

Berry Badger Tea- Raspberry and Strawberry flavors combined with Rishi iced green tea to live On Wisconsin.

Salted Caramel Chai- It has returned! The fan favorite salted caramel chai. This scrumptious drink is composed of chai, caramel, and salt.

Snickerdoodle CCB- Spiced brown sugar and cinnamon join to create something reminiscent of the beloved German-born cookie. The best part is, you didn't even have to do the hard work of baking.

Fall semester is beginning next week, can you believe it? That means we will be going back to our normal hours of 7am-5pm starting on Tuesday September 6th. As always, we are open Monday-Friday! SO excited to see everyone back on campus, come see us for those first week caffeine needs! Also as a reminder: we will be closed for Labor Day on Monday!

The funnel cake latte was a personal favorite (iced because summer) and is perfect for late summer fair vibes 🥰 If you haven’t tried it yet, stop in today!

Happy Sunday, Java fam! We wanted to hop on and give you a heads up that we are going to be closed to the public tomorrow and Tuesday (8/15+16). New residents will be moving into the building, so to keep everything running as smoothly as possible, we will be excited to welcome you all back in for normal summer hours on Wednesday! We appreciate your understanding!

Sometimes, when you're on the go it's nice to grab something cold from our drink cooler in addition (or maybe instead depending on your mood) to your coffee! We've got juice, bubblr, water, water joe (aka caffeinated water), Arnold Palmer, sprecher sodas, Red Bull and kombucha!

Happy August! We are so excited for the last full month of summer, and these specials are a great way to round out a wonderful season with you all. (but this also means fall specials are right around the corner!)

Funnel Cake: This fair staple has flavors of vanilla and toffee nut to create a Midwest classic.

Chocolate covered pretzel: Pretzel + Chocolate… the duo we need to get through the week. This latte has flavors of dark chocolate, white chocolate, and salt.
 
Miel Chai: This is bliss in a cup. The classic chai latte with honey and cinnamon.
 
Coconut Cloud: This month’s cold foam cold brew but with coconut in the cold brew and marshmallow in the cold foam. The perfect thing for a summer day.

Did you know that you can add a cold foam topper to any iced drink? If you're a lover of our cream cold brew specials, this is that delicious frothed heavy cream with any flavor you want, so you can get super creative and even try your own mixture. I think it's best added to cold brew, but you could also add it to an iced americano, maybe even an iced matcha?! The possibilities are really endless.

If you're a scone lover, this news is for you! We've added a strawberry rhubarb filled vanilla scone and it is beyond delish. Look for it in the bakery case and make sure to give it a try!

Berry Americano: This Americano is a mix up of the classic with a berry twist.

Nutella Latte: Spread the happy with this flavor combination of dark chocolate and hazelnut.

Red, White & True Latte: Celebrate America with this latte containing Raspberry, White
Chocolate, and Blueberry.

Coke and Cold Brew w/ Sweet Cream: Taste the Feeling! This unique drink combines the classic Coca-Cola with our cold brew topped with a vanilla cold foam to create the American dream.

It's smoothie szn, and we have a new flavor for you to try! Pina Colada! No, we didn't get our liquor license overnight, BUT this is a refreshing and summery smoothie that will absolutely brighten your day! It's also amazing mixed with any of our other smoothie flavors.

OK Summer is OFFICIALLY here, yay for the solstice! Is it even summer if you're not drinking Summer Solstice?! Be on the lookout for this seasonal blend in our rotation, it’s a medium-light roast with notes of cherry blossom, apricot and orange.

Bonfire Chai: Feeling toasty? Try this chai hot or iced to cool your summer or heat up your day. This is chai is flavored with extra spice, toasted marshmallow, and dark chocolate.

Churro Latte: Churro love this. Flavors of cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla highlight the Mexican street dessert.

Iced Double Berry Tea: For all the tea lovers this one's for you. Rishi Green Iced Tea mixed with blueberry and raspberry syrup to turn any day “berry” good.

Macaroon CCB: This cream cold brew is flavored with a coconut base and topped with a chocolate and almond cream.

We highlighted smoothies last week, and this week we're keeping with that iced 🧊 drink trend. One of our most frequently asked questions is, can I get it iced? The answer is YES! You can get any of our drinks iced except for the cappuccino. We also have some pre made iced teas if you aren't feeling coffee, those options are Summer Lemon, Citrus Green or Sport Tea (a decaf iced tea). If you want to jazz up an iced tea, try adding a flavor shot! Raspberry with the Citrus Green is a personal favorite!
