Join us for a concert on the lawn of the Madison Labor Temple to hear David and Kamala singing songs of social significance. Their songs are funny, poignant, and outrageous; they inform and inspire.
David's been called an heir to Woody Guthrie and Phil Ochs. Tom Morello, Amy Goodman, and Pete Seeger want you to listen to David Rovics.

"Congrats to State Senator Melissa Agard on winning the Primary for Dane County Executive!
Melissa Agard has a long history fighting for workers rights. While Melissa was on the Dane County Board, we knew as rank and file workers, we could depend on her to listen to us. As Chair of the Human Service Committee, she listened to workers when there were concerns. And when Act 10 violated our rights as union members, she protested along side us. And it was Melissa Agard who responded as the primary author of the Dane County Resolution 'Supporting Wisconsin Workers Right to Organize and Collectively Bargain'.
Melissa Agard continued to advocate for issues and concerns of the working class while in the State Legislature. She was able to lead and get things done, which is why her fellow legislators elected her leader of the State Senate Dems.
She has stood with SEIU nurses while they organized at UW-Hospital, rallied with OPEIU members while on Strike against TruStage, supported Building and Construction Trades with their apprenticeship programs and workforce development training facilities, helped ensure AFSCME members and others had a seat at the table, joined the struggle Fight for $15, and was always there when Solidarity was needed.
We know Melissa has a proven track record. She will continue to advocate for Union Rights, and will fight for the Working Class! And this is why workers from all walks of life came together as the delegates of the South Central Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO and proudly endorsed Melissa Agard for Dane County Executive."
