Shoutout🗣️ to our Ranger Challenge teams for an awesome performance this past Saturday Fort McCoy! Cadets were put through a rigorous course that tested their physical and mental strength, competing in events like weapons assembly, making a rope bridge, gr***de throwing, and ruck marches along with a few more events. Congratulations to our 9-person team that placed 2nd and our 5-person team that placed 3rd 🏅 Way to go‼️ As always, thank you to our awesome cadets and cadre for making this event possible!

We had a beautiful morning at the Camp Randall Memorial Park to conduct our Fall Commissioning Ceremony. Congratulations to the Army's newest Lieutenants: 2LT Basa, 2LT Finley, & 2LT Wanke.

Badger Battalion had a great FTX this weekend at Fort McCoy🔥‼️Cadets tested their physical 💪 and mental 🧠 endurance at the confidence and conditioning courses 🥵, during the Leaders Reaction Course 🗣️, at the range 🔫, during Land Navigation 🧭 and rappelling 🪢. Shout out to all our awesome cadets and cadre who made this training possible🤩

Thanks to everyone that came out to our Alumni Tailgate & Hall of Fame induction last Saturday. A special congratulations once again to our three inductees: COL Hiller, LTC McDaniel & MG McCoy. If you know of a deserving Alum or Supporter of the program, we are always accepting nominations.

Yesterday we were able to present Dr. Carl Sovinec, the head of the Officer Education Committee at UW-Madison, a token of our appreciation for his many years serving as the committee's chair and continually advocating for the ROTC programs over the years.

Last week our MSIV's conducted their staff ride to learn about the Battle of Wisconsin Heights.
ATTENTION: We are now accepting nominations for our 2024 Badger Battalion Hall of Fame class until June 1st. If you know of a Badger Battalion Alum or supporter worthy of induction based on their military or civilian accomplishments please email: [email protected]. We prefer that nominees have completed their time in service but is not required. The induction ceremony will take place on a Saturday this fall prior to a Badger home football game.
