Our Mission
Located in the heart of downtown Madison, Breese Stevens Field has become an iconic landmark of this great city. Still standing 90+ years after construction in 1926, Breese has become the premier outdoor venue in Madison hosting concerts, festivals, craft fairs, and Forward Madison FC - Wisconsin’s first professional outdoor soccer team. However, Breese Stevens Field did not originally start with this end goal in mind. In the 1920’s Breese Stevens Field was built to serve as a baseball stadium, and through the years it went on to host a myriad of other events and teams. It wasn’t until a few years ago that it was reinvigorated to serve as an anchor of downtown entertainment and community space molding into the great music & event venue you know and love today.
When Big Top Sports and Entertainment first took over management of the facility in 2015, we have always had the community in mind. That is why our mission statement is
“To provide exceptional recreational outings for the community and deliver unforgettable experiences leading to lasting memories”.
