Thank you for your steadfast leadership Chief Aldenberg!!

Had the pleasure today to visit Manchester West High School with Mayor Ruais and meet with the NJROTC Cadets. These Cadets are learning core values and leadership skills that will carry them far beyond school.

This program is lead by LCDR Stacey Lancaster, USN (Ret) and MGySgt Ronald V. Slagle USMC (Ret). Together they teach the Cadets structure and much more.

To say I was impressed is an understatement, I am extremely proud of each Cadet and their commitment. I can see each of them being pivotal members of society. From High School, some will be joining the workforce and others, Military Service will be their calling. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Well done to Troop 118 of Manchester!! On October 1st, they led the Manchester Mayor and Board Of Aldermen in the Pledge of Allegiance 🇺🇸

Prior to the meeting they had a chance to meet the Mayor and have a photo taken in his office!!

MISSING PERSON - HAVE YOU SEEN HER? This is Sophie, she has been missing for 2 weeks. When last spoke to, she was at Farnum center and has detoxed. She was anticipated to go to rehab from there and never made it.

She was seen on the west side possibly the day she had left detox. But has not been seen or heard from since. This is very concerning considering she has consistently kept contact with family even in addiction.

The police report was filed over a week ago and there has been little to no info since.

Afternoon Ward 11,

There was a new Stop recently placed at Amory next to the Gosselin plaza heading east. As many of you noticed, It's no longer there and causing issues with the traffic pattern. I've reached out to city officials and the following is an update:

The Stop sign was put up a few weeks ago when the city received a request that a Stop sign was missing. Unfortunately, there never was a Stop sign there but instead it was meant to be a bus sign. The installation of the Stop sign was an error and on behalf of the city, I apologize for any and all inconveniences this sign has brought.

I can add that I understand the challenges of the intersection and will have it looked at to determine if there is some form of traffic signage that may help with traffic flow and safety.

It was great to see everyone having a good time today. I do appreciate all who said hello and expressed positive feedback to me. I'm happy to serve Ward 11 as your Alderman! 🇺🇸

I'd also like to thank the many volunteers that made this event happen. Without our volunteers, there is no block party.
