Through our Fresh Picks program, we offer tasty, balanced menu choices that appeal to students while meeting school district, state and USDA nutrition and reporting standards. We prepare our menus on a budget, and whenever possible, with fresh local ingredients from New England suppliers.

Throughout the month of March, Fresh Picks Cafe will be celebrating Read Across America! Every week we will focus on a new children's book to promote literacy in early education. On every Wednesday of the month, we will have specialty menus centered around each spotlighted book. The dates are as follows:
Week 1 (March 4-8): I Can Eat A Rainbow by Olena Rose (Featured Menu Day Wed. March 6)
Week 2 (March 11-15): The Lunch Lady & Cyborg Substitute by Jarrett Krozoczka (Featured Menu Day Wed. March 13)
Week 3 (March 18-22): Are You A Cheeseburger? by Monica Armando (Featured Menu Day Wed. March 20)
Week 4 (March 25-29): Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin (Featured Menu Day Wed. March 27)
At the high school level, we will be celebrating on Wednesday, March 20th, with a focus on manga and anime novels!

The State Fair rolled into all of our cafeterias this week, and boy was it a blast! Students were treated to fair staples like loaded hot dogs, beef and cheese nachos, specialty burgers, and more! Greenland, NH even had a cow stop by!
