Mandan Band Boosters

Good evening Mandan Band Families! We are need of 2 more student volunteers and 1 adult volunteer for Thursday 10/17 at Papa's Pumpkin Patch. There was a change in a few schedules so please let us know if you can fill those spots from 3-7. All money earned goes into individual student accounts. Send a message in messenger if available!

We have been asked if there are about 10-15 band students that would want to serve dinner/clear tables for the Soil Conservation dinner on Monday, Nov. 25th. This is a full service evening so all students working would work the full shift from serving the meal through clean up. Students would be working with Six 0 Four Catering. I will have more details as the date approaches, but it would be in the evening. Students that work the event would split the money earned for the evening and it would go into their individual student accounts. This would be for student accounts AFTER the Hawaii trip. Please send a message to our messenger here on Facebook in the next week if interested so we can let them know if we have enough volunteers.

ATTENTION MANDAN BAND FAMILIES!
Our fall fundraiser starts this week! Please watch for the Little Caesar's Packet to come home, or remind your child to pick one up if they are going to participate!
Sales begin this week. Orders and payment due November 1st. There is also an option for people to order online if they prefer.
Delivery is currently scheduled for the week of November 18th. More information on delivery and pick-up will be posted as the date approaches.
THIS FUNDRAISER WILL NOT COUNT TOWARDS THE HAWAII TRIP. All monies earned will go into individual student accounts to begin building them back up for future opportunities.

Our Senior Marching Braves! It was a great season and we wish you the best in the rest of your senior year!

Tonight was the final home game for our Marching Braves this year. We also celebrated parent night and Military Appreciation night! Thank you to our awesome directors, talented students, and the community of Mandan for your support of our kids! What a great season!

We're using SignUp to organize our upcoming volunteer positions.

We have 2 positions approaching fast for our October 15th Fall Jazz night for Jazz I and II. If you have a child performing that evening and you are able, please consider signing up to help with admissions. Bonus is you get first choice of seats!

We also have the Invitational Festival concert is November 4th and we will need 4 to help with admissions. Please consider helping where you can!

What a great tradition we have in Mandan! Our Middle School and High School bands march in and play for each other! Way to support each other and represent Mandan in such a positive way!

Congratulations to our Marching Braves on another awesome night of marching! And a big congratulations to Anna Bahm - one of our Marching Braves and newly crowned Homecoming Queen! Marching halftime in a crown!!

We have 2 spots remaining for Pedal Cars and Floater/Grounds. And as a reminder, this is NOT applied to the Hawaii trip. This will rebuild individual accounts after that trip is done.

Last night our band students had the opportunity to volunteer at the MPO Annual dinner. What a fun event, and the kids did great! We are excited to share that Mandan Progress Organization is generously matching all tips earned last night and donating that portion to Mandan Bands for the upcoming trip to Hawaii! We truly have an amazing community and love the support we have seen for our students! Thank you MPO!!

ATTENTION!!!

If you are working at the Boots And Bling Dinner Thursday night here's what you need to know!

Dykshorn Park at 5:15 (or right after marching practice). You should be done between 7:30/8.
Wear jeans, tennis shoes and a Mandan Band shirt of some kind (Marching, pep band, parade, or any Mandan apparel).
You need to check in with Matt Schanandore or Arlan Van Beek when you arrive.

While all student spots are filled, remember MPO is offering discounted tickets to band parents to attend the dinner! Please send us a message for the discount code if you're interested in attending!

HAWAII FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY!

Mandan Progress Organization has reached out and offered another fundraising opportunity for those attending the Hawaii trip in December! There are 10-15 spots available to help serve at their annual dinner. Students that work will receive an equal share of any tips earned that will go into their individual accounts. Details are below.

Please text Lacey Jochim at 701-220-4352 if your band student wants to fill a spot. An update to this post will be made when spots are full.

* Students are to arrive at Dykshorn Park on Thursday, September 5th, by 5:15 to help set the tables and prepare for serving.
* Following dinner, students will help clear tables and should be done by about 8:00p.m.

The first home game of the season is in the books! Our Marching Braves took the field for pre-game and halftime and sounded great, as always!! Top that off with a Braves win!
