The Kaw Valley Rodeo was proud to present a check to the K-State Johnson Cancer Research Center after raising $6,902.38 during our annual Pass the Boots campaign at the rodeo this summer.

We couldn’t have done it without the support of the Johnson Center, K-State women’s basketball, Blueville Nursery, Yee Haw Country Outfitters, Creed Construction, 1419 Mercantile, Pink Armadillo, Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center, Williams Decorating and Affordable Electric.

We have raised nearly $15,000 over the last two summers.

Some of our Kaw Valley Rodeo committee members visited other rodeos around the state this past week, including the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo, Abilene’s Wild Bill Hickok Rodeo and Phillipsburg’s Kansas’ Biggest Rodeo. We love our Kansas rodeo friends!
