We’ve raised nearly $15,000 over the last two years for the Johnson Cancer Research Center and need more help this weekend as we Pass the Boots all three nights of the rodeo — including Pink Night on Friday. We kick it off tonight with the help of the K-State women’s basketball team passing our pink boots through the crowd.
Thursday night is Kids Night at the Kaw Valley Rodeo. All children 12 and under get in free with a nonperishable food item to benefit the Flint Hills Breadbasket. Rodeo begins at 8 pm.
We need volunteers to help us with the Kaw Valley Rodeo next week. See what it takes to put on Manhattan’s PRCA rodeo. Contact us through Facebook if interested.
