Maple Shade Girls Softball

**Free Clinic for ages 5-8**
Our first clinic will be on Thursday, August 15 from 6-8. Your child does not have to be a prior player for our league and players from all towns are welcome. Space is limited, so please reserve today (contact info is on the flyer). Depending on the demand for this event, we may schedule initial clinics moving forward.

**Update on 15U Tryouts**
Reminder that tryouts are scheduled for tonight at 6 pm on field 1.

Should it rain, we will have an interest meeting at the clubhouse instead and will inform you of a new tryout date.

Stock is limited. We will likely open an online store once all on-hand stock has been sold.

These will be available for sale at our snack stand starting Friday. We will also have a table set up on Sunday at the field.

Opening Day 2024

Today did not disappoint! Beautiful weather, a wonderful opening day ceremony, fun games all day and the buzz of a busy day at the field. We couldn’t ask for a better day!

Hi everyone, the forecast is not improving at all for tomorrow so we will be canceling all practices. We will reach out to coaches Sunday morning regarding field conditions and practices. Thank you and have a good night.

*****SPRING TRAVEL TRYOUTS*****
MSGS will be holding tryouts for our 2024 Spring 10U and 12U travel teams on Saturday, March 9. All tryouts will take place on Field 1.

Times are as follows:
10U: 11 am
12U: 12:30 pm

You will be notified shortly after tryouts if your player has made the team. If they do, the registration fee is $125. If you did not attend rec tryouts or didn’t get a chance to sign the interest sheet at tryouts, you are still welcome to attend.

**REMINDER**
Tryouts for 14U are taking place this evening on field 1 at 5:30 pm. If you did not sign the interest form at tryouts, you can still come and tryout.

Those making the team will be notified shortly after and registration will be $125.

Please note the following updates:
1. Due to the forecast and anticipated field conditions for Saturday, tryouts have been rescheduled for Sunday, February 18 and will take place as follows:

Should the fields not be playable on Sunday, we will make the decision on Saturday night on another potential reschedule.

2. Senior Division Tryouts will be postponed for another for 1-2 weeks. We wanted to provide flexibility for those who have not had the opportunity tosign up yet, so thank you for your patience. We will be in touch with a reschedule date shortly. In the meantime, please feel free to share that our registration will remain open for at least another week.

**January General Meeting**
Our January General Meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 10 at 7 pm at the field 1 clubhouse. All are welcome to attend.
