We invite you all to our Light the Way Trunk or Treat! Bring the kids for the fun, but we also invite you to bring your trunk! Set up begins at 4:30 pm and Trunk or Treat is from 5:30-7:30 pm! Dinner, contests, games, and lots of fun for everyone!

One of our vendors for our Fall Festival! We have some amazing stuff! Come support small business and Light the Way from 3-6pm!

We are having a Fall Festival! We will have food trucks including The Coffee Cure and Dickey's Barbecue, a silent auction, and a vendor fair with all different types of local businesses! Come enjoy a fun afternoon and support Light the Way Preschool!

Trunk or Treat tomorrow from 5-7pm!! We will be spreading out in the parking lot! Car decorating at 4:30! Costumes, candy, dinner, and great fun!!

We are very excited to begin a new school year! This year preschool will begin classes on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

State Licensing requires that each child have an updated Emergency Information and Immunization Record Card on file before the first day of class. Please plan to stop by the preschool on Thursday, July 30 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. or Friday, July 31 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. to update your paperwork. If you are not able to come by during those scheduled times, please make arrangements to complete your paperwork before Tuesday, August 4.

Calling all 2019-2020 Preschoolers! We are missing you! Please come and see your teachers one last time for this school year. We are hosting a Good-Bye Open House on Wednesday, June 24 from 4:00 to 7:00.

Masks will not be required, however, we understand and respect the different levels of comfort regarding any social activities.

We are excited to have the Kona Ice Truck join us and provide our families with an icy treat at no cost to you.

Please plan to join us for a fun evening.

Dear Preschool Families,

It’s hard to believe that the end of the school year is here. It has been an interesting few months and I have missed seeing all of you. Thinking back to the beginning of the school year, none of us would have imagined the turn that this year has taken.

I know that many of you have continued to work with your little ones at home through things you’ve found on-line, through social media, and the packets we have provided. You have done an amazing job with your little ones, and keep in mind that the most important thing you have done for them is to make them feel that they are always safe and loved.

The staff at Light the Way Preschool has you in their prayers and we hope that you will continue to pray for us as we move toward the re-opening of our community.

We are planning to have an End of the Year Open House to allow for the children and their teachers to greet one another and get the Memory Books that have been prepared for them. There will also be a video showing some of the highlights of our school year. The date for this has not been set yet but will probably happen Mid-June. Watch for updates on our page for more information.

We are going to re-open June 8 for Summer Session. I have been in contact with the Department of Health Services and will be implementing some new procedures to help with health and safety of our families. We are excited this year to have a Kindergarten Teacher from Rattlesnake Ridge Elementary School rejoin us this summer. Ms. Lundeberg will be leading a Pre-K Readiness Boot Camp. The dates and times for this class will be the same as Summer Session 1 and will follow the same themes. She has some fun activities planned to help give your little one extra confidence for the first day of Kindergarten.

If you are interested in having your little one attend one or more of our Summer Sessions, please contact Miss Cathy. This year we will have activities that will be fun for children up to age 10. As always, there is a family discount for siblings.

Thank you to one of our amazing Preschool Parents for arranging the Kona Shave Ice Truck to be on site for those of you needing a refreshing treat after driving by our crazy staff. Please help to keep every safe by respecting Social Distancing.

Light the Way Preschool misses you! Please drive by this Thursday, May 7 at 10:00 A.M. The staff will be there to wave at you, sing with you, blow kisses at you and just be silly with you.

You can pick up your Letter Z homework packet beginning Monday May 4 at 12:00.
