Lucy the Elephant is excited to welcome a new Lucy to the world! 🎉 Lucy Evelyn arrived on Friday, July 5th, at 8:19 AM, weighing 6 lbs 10 oz and measuring 18.5” long.

Lucy Evelyn is the granddaughter of Margaret Westfield, the incredible restoration architect who has dedicated decades to preserving our beloved elephant. Emily, Lucy Evelyn’s mom, has cherished many visits to Lucy the Elephant with Margaret over the years. 🐘❤️

The girl pictured (now all grown up 😉) recalls how Mrs. Fisher’s Rooming House and The Greenhouse were on either side of Lucy. You’d step out of Mrs. Fisher’s back door and walk right between Lucy’s legs to get to the beach! ✨🌊🐘
