The before and after ✨
It’s crazy to think I started this painting back in 2014. This piece was part of my senior show which was a reflection of the inner outer self. I have so many thoughts on this piece, I can’t even begin, but I promise to share more. Hope y’all love the transformation!

There is something about gold in artwork. ✨I never thought I would use this much gold in my work. The main reason I started doing this was to make a powerful emphasis on the main subjects of my work.
My painting process was different with this painting. I wanted to utilize mediums and styles I don't often use in my art. I experimented and played and painted until I worked through some hard emotions. “Inside My Heart” was inspired by my Dads double bypass surgery. The fear and struggles I faced in the process to get through it is reflected in this piece.
It is officially available to shop on my website. Head to the link in my bio to shop for this piece and more! Ofranklinart.com
I think I’m going to paint a new perspective of Lumpkin Campground every year ✨
To be one of the only artists to capture Lumpkin Campground is the best feeling. This place means the world to me and honestly even if no one wants the art I create, I do! It can hang in my home forever because this place is so beautiful and dear to my heart. ✨
Hoping to have this new piece finished next week!
