Artist Andy Triemer paints mythical nature creatures- fairies, gnomes, unicorns and the like. This is a “Green Man” painting on a wooden board. Per Wikipedia- the Green Man is primarily interpreted as a symbol of rebirth, representing the cycle of new growth that occurs every spring.

If you missed M2R Trailfest this past Saturday, have no fear because the M2R Fence Art Gallery is here in downtown Marietta until June 6th!

Walk along the M2R trail located along the railroad track of Marietta Square and observe a curated fine arts and photography exhibition of over 80 different artists.

The exhibition will travel throughout 8 different cities in Cobb County, so even if you're not in the Marietta area, you still have the chance to see everything elsewhere.

The Downtown Marietta Development Authority and the City of Marietta, Ga., Government are proud to announce the 2024 Glover Park Concert Series. These free concerts take place monthly in Glover Park on the Marietta Square from April through September. All concerts begin at 8:00 on the last Friday of each month, April – September. *Exception, August date is the 4th Friday.

A limited number of stage-adjacent tables can be reserved for a fee on the first working day of each month beginning at 8:00 a.m. Attendees can bring a picnic or dine in one of the many fine restaurants located on the square. Blankets and lawn chairs may be set up in the park anytime on Friday. No plastic ground covering, ropes, tape, stakes, etc. used to section off areas are permitted inside the park as they will be removed and all personal tables must be set up in the street after 6:00 p.m., not in the park.

Tina Stoffel, a resident of Marietta is the featured artist for the 2024 Glover Park Concert Series poster. She is a self-taught artist and loves to focus on nature, animals, art and music.

We are counting down the days until we will be participating again at this year's Marietta the Gathering.

Marietta the Gathering will be held on March 2nd from 10:00am - 8:00pm right on Marietta Square.

Guild Show, vendors, gaming, panels, contests, and concerts! This family-friendly festival will include it all!

Located on East Park Square will be Tourney Alley; a street full of board games, card tournaments & gaming tents hosted by MomoCon. You can also stop by Boxwood Social Hall for a variety of board games and hit up Ultimate Mobile Gaming along the way.

This is an event that you do NOT want to miss! So bring your friends, family, or even your neighbor down to Marietta Square to partake in all of the festivities!
