Dear Ones,
When I was in high school, I had a bumper sticker on my car that I had picked up from my local UU congregation book store. It read, “The Question is the Answer”. This sentiment reflected one of our shared principles of UUism: to affirm and promote a responsible search for TRUTH and MEANING. In other words, ours is a religion of the HEAD and the HEART. Each is essential to Unitarian Universalism. I appreciate that UUism supports, for each of us, to come to our own understanding and expression of UUism. As you seek out your own truth and meaning, what questions do you have that we could explore together?
The worship service on June 2nd will be directed by your questions for the minister. Send me your questions to [email protected], so I can prepare for the service in the week to come. I look forward to exploring with you!
With faith and compassion,
Rev. Christina

Today, in the Sunday worship service, we lit candles in honor of those who have mothered and nurtured us in our lives. Sometimes this is a birth mother. Other times it may be a step mother, a relative, a neighbor, or even a teacher. If this day is hard for you, you are not alone. May you be find comfort.
