Drawing Your Thoughts: Workshop Session #1 Saturday and Sunday, April 6 & 7, 2024 10:30am - 3:00pm

Drawing aids us in discovering and inventing. It is a way to gain a deeper understanding of our own internal thoughts. Drawing can be useful in observing, discovering and inventing and so much more
No drawing experience is required. This is not a “how to draw” workshop. It is an exploration with the use of prompts to enjoy the experience of working on paper with tools from my collection of sticks and other found objects, pens, markers and more.
The goal is to use drawing for communicating, visualizing, investigating, observing and experimenting and so much more! No expectations. Come enjoy two days of making new images you can take with you to continue.
All supplies are provided: 10 spaces

Paintings and Work on Paper

Helen DeRamus Studio is a working artist studio. Private art mentoring is available in painting and drawing with occasional art workshops scheduled. The large studio where I work is housed in the Artisan Resource Center, a circa 1940's art deco building housing 25 artist studios in a variety of mediums.
