It’s Mazal Tov Monday! Maizy and Remy Needle became a Bat Mitzvah this past weekend.
Maizy and Remy's D'var Torah Quote is: "The Torah challenges us to "see" (Re'eh) beyond the immediate consequence and consider the long-term impact of our actions. Our choices matter."
For their mitzvah project, Maizy and Remy supported the MDE School, a private school for children with special needs. They contributed money to buy supplies for the new preschool's opening and also volunteered their time in the classroom with the children. This is special to us because it is named in memory of our Opa, Marc Elkan.
Mazal tov to their family.
Shabbat Shalom to All!
Mazel Tov to Michelle & Ben Needle on Maizy & Remy becoming b'nai mitzvahs.

We are excited to invite you to a thought-provoking and insightful session led by Yoni Buckman, an Educational Specialist at OpenDor Media. This hour-long program, funded by the Innovation Initiative, will be followed by a 30-minute engaging discussion. We'll explore the delicate and often challenging topic of discussing Israel in interfaith homes and relationships.
This program will offer practical strategies for engaging in respectful dialogue about Israel, particularly within interfaith settings. As the conflict between Israel and Hamas continues to evoke a wide range of perspectives, this session aims to equip participants with the tools to navigate these conversations with empathy, understanding, and a focus on finding common ground.
Yoni will also provide context on the history of antisemitism and its relationship to Israel’s founding, enriching the discussion with valuable historical insights.
