Smitha PTSA celebrates all teachers who showed up and went the extra mile for our children, schools and community this school year. We truly thank you and celebrate YOU!
National Teacher Appreciation Week is NEXT WEEK, May 3-7. At Smitha we always try to make it an extra special week to thank our teachers for the job they have done all year with our children. This year, more than ever, we would love to show them just how much we have appreciated their hard work and dedication during these difficult times, but we need your help.
The PTSA and I are kindly asking for donations to help us make this deserving celebration extra special for our teachers. Any donations would be great appreciated and no amount is too small. You are welcome to donate money in the form of cash or checks (made payable to PTSA and dropped off in the front office or in one of the black receipt boxes around the school by your student) that will go toward the Teacher Appreciation luncheon or other treats throughout the week, or gift cards (dropped off to the front office) that can be used as giveaways.
In addition, do you own your own business or work for a company that can donate funds/gift cards, or has items/services they can donate as giveaways, for Teacher Appreciation Week? If so, we can acknowledge your business on our morning announcements and list it in our parent Newsletter, "This Week At Smitha..." that goes out to over a 1000 families each week.
As always, all students and their families are encouraged to celebrate their children's teacher's during this week with individual tokens of appreciation. Thank you in advance for your consideration and assistance.
If you have any questions, or would like to discuss any items mentioned further, please contact me by calling the school at 678-594-8269 or by email at [email protected]
SIncerely,
Mr. Salter
