Selling this home twice in the last 15 months was an amazing honor!

I hopped out of bed this morning ready to jump in the shower and get my day started…

As I turned around to glance out the window I caught the most beautiful sunrise.

So… I stopped, grabbed a cup of coffee and decided to sit out on my deck and watch the sunrise over what will be an amazing day.

As I was sitting here I thought to myself I’m going to coin today, to not only inspire myself but hopefully to inspire you!

All the money is in the follow up… And really… it’s all in the follow up not just in business but in everything.

There’s more to this photo than just Table Top Tuesday… You see that table that I’m sitting on it’s one of my prized possessions. That may sound silly to you but a dining room table is a prized possession. It’s not a family heirloom. I bought it at an antique auction. It weighs 700 pounds and it’s solid antique mahogany.

I bought it because I could see my family sitting around having dinner and playing games.

My husband at the time hated it and forbid me to buy it… During my divorce the husband wanted to keep the table that he hated so much… I suppose just for spite. But I wasn’t leaving that marriage or that house without that table because I knew the reason and vision behind the purchase was pure at heart, to see my family and friends gathered around it.

This was my mom‘s favorite home in Atlanta Country Club. Every Sunday when we would go for a drive and somehow we would end up driving by this house.

Her excitement started on Columns Dr. I can hear her voice now as though we were in the car this very second… Look Punkin… look at that house on the hill. One day Punkin, one day!

It was custom built in 1975 it had never been on the market. One year ago today3/20/21 I wrote down the address. I drove off the street down ACC Dr. and said one day, one day I’m going to live in this neighborhood.

It came on the market January 8, 2022 and I snapped it up!

I told someone tonight I feel so very peaceful here. It is like a piece/peace of my mom lives here with me.

The owner’s daughter left me a note and it said I hope you are very happy here at your House On The Hill. It was like my mom’s words came to life on that paper.

And just like that… this room is giving me work from home Wednesday vibes!

And just like that… the sun rose on a beautiful Sunday morning!

So back in 7th grade I wanted more than anything to get my hair to look like this beautiful girl Karen. She had the best hair!

Today with the help of my air wrap when I finished my hair I was OH MY STARS! I have finally achiever The Karen Holt! 0f course that was 1979 and it’s 2022. What does that say about my style?

fierce was my first dip into the mens fragrance pool. Then acquaintance di gio I loved the way it smelled so one day I tried it on myself… I was hooked!
