Big change! 🥳 How cute is this new color and cut?! We took off most of the previously colored hair and did dimensional blonding on the new growth! This is a lived in color and will grow out beautifully for low maintenance. The only thing she may need to do is retone here and there, but besides that she is good to go for a long time! I received some of the new 10 min xpress koleston color by and my client was totally down for being a guinea pig! I pre-treated with & proceeded to do a dimensional foil with some babylights around the face using Simply Blonde Beyond Blonde lightener and 8x10 around the perimeter & pop up foil on the mohawk area. Then I went in between the foils and applied the 10 min color between the foils and to the regrowth all over the head which was about 3” long with 6/0 + 6% 20 vol developer. After rinsing I did a root tap with Kenra 6NUA & toned the rest with SV rapid toner. Let it all sit about 4 min and rinsed and followed with the k18 mask. Zero breakage! The 10 min color blended seamlessly into the previous color! What a difference! We refreshed it all by cutting off about 3 inches and taking the face framing and layers up. Styling included a blowout with a 2” round brush with k18 oil drops & Bombshell Volumizer. Then curled with a 1 1/4” iron using Perfect Defense heat protectant and following up with their Lumonous Hairspray with strong finish then after combing through the curls spray with .us Texture & Finishing Spray!

We started with level 5 hair and a couple inches of 50% grey regrowth. After a partial dimensional color that included k18 treatment, foil highlights, color retouch on new growth, a color glaze, & a root tap, we were left with this stunning multi-dimensional brunette! Naturally white/platinum yellowing? We did the peptide prep chelating demineralization spray to prep the hair (and the rest of the k18 line) then followed with Diamond Frost ammonia free color to tone out the unwanted tones and seal the cuticle for color retention and hair integrity! It turned out so pretty! 💎

This cutie pie wanted a color that was easier to maintain than the blonde. We did a color melt, lowlights and left out some blonde highlights but touched up the regrowth. 3 different bowls of color and two strengths of lightener were used to create this chocolatey look! Corrected the color banding and salt & pepper (natural level 3) into a seamless color melt! Lots of work and K18, including the peptide prep spray, to keep my client’s hair healthy!
