Hello! There’s no trivia again this week but we’re happy to announce that trivia will return the following week (June 19th and 20th). We’re also excited to tell you Brix Wine & Whiskey is taking the reins and will be running things here going forward. For now they will only be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6-10 for trivia. There will be rotating trivia hosts. Same rules and format. Mason City Brewing will be offering prorated refunds to our former mug club members. Refund link in comments. Helter Seltzer took home the trophy after winning our 23rd trivia season final last night! It all came down to the last question: Name the seven continents in order from largest to smallest. Congratulations to Helter Seltzer on your first league trivia championship!

Friday night is the annual Day Peace Comedy show to benefit Toys for Tots! It’s going to be a good one! We hope to see you there! Show starts at 8

We love the Iowa Independent Film Festival. Their 15th annual event begins tonight in Mason City. You might want to go to this. Not to just to “support them” but because it’s awesome and you will probably have a really good time. Last year we went and it was very enjoyable.
