I’ve been trying to find the right words to say for the past few days and I think I’ve finally found them. this is going to be a long one, so stick with me.

Over the past 6 years, I have worked for Steve and the Crest View/Outpost family. I was here before The Outpost was. Throughout these past few years, I have come to know so many of you personally and even made a few friends along the way. Many of you have watched me grow up and grow into the person I am today. I’ve seen you all at both stores, MSU, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Indiana (OG's remember that one). You guys make coming to work so incredibly easy. getting to hear about your families, your jobs, your gossip, your goals, your experiences and so much more, it makes me love my job and has been the biggest reason why I have been here as long as I have.

Working for Steve has been one of the best opportunities I have ever been given. Professionally, Steve has given me opportunities and connections that have let me flourish in my position. Letting me manage the store, the page, etc. He has given me every inch of creative freedom. The Outpost has become a second child to me. knowing that I have been able to help build this store exactly what it is today is so incredibly rewarding. Steve has given me skills that I will bring with me wherever life takes me. In my personal life, Steve and my coworkers have become family. Steve first met me when I was a shy, horse crazy, 12-year-old with braces (as I'm sure some of you DEFINTELY remember) He has now watched me turn into a sarcastic, sassy, caring mom and wife at 23. He has pushed me to my limits, drove me bonkers, and reeled me in when I needed it. There’s been ups and there’s been downs, tears, laughs, the whole 9 yards. but when we say Crest View is a family, we definitely mean that. these people have seen me graduate high school, go to college, lose loved ones, buy a home, get married, have a baby and everything in between. I am so incredibly blessed to have these people in my circle.

As many of you already know, Logan and I had our daughter, Harley, just before Christmas. she is the absolute light of our lives. becoming parents has been one of the most magical things in life. but damn these kids grow FAST. Right now, Harley is 7 months old and she has started crawling, among many other things. Because of a new opportunity for Logan, I have the opportunity to be able to stay home with Harley. I want to be there for all of her firsts, and they’re happening fast. Being able to be a stay-at-home mom is honestly something I have always dreamed of but never thought I would have the ability to. Now that I do, I know I have to.

so, with that, today was my very last day at The Outpost. this was one of the hardest decisions I think I have ever had to make. but I am truthfully so excited for this next chapter in my life, titled “Mom”. Now it’s time for me to pass the torch to the next person and let them feel the love and support from the best customers, coworkers, and boss out there.
