Perry History Club
The Perry Township History Club is a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history of Perry Township.
The Perry Township History Club is dedicated to the preservation of the history of Perry Township and the restoration and preservation of the 1893 Genoa Schoolhouse located at 539 Genoa Avenue, the only one room school still standing and able to be preserved in Perry Township.
Today is the last day to bring donations to Richville Park for the Perry History Club sponsored rummage sale 10-5. The sale will be held under the pavilion and inside the building at the park from 9-4 9th,10th, and 11th. If its raining we are still open!!!

Old 1893 Genoa Schoolhouse will be open from 9-11 May 4 tomorrow too.
Stop by and see your favorite elementary school one last time. Dates and times are listed below.
If you missed our Richville tribute and our Open House at the old 1893 one room Genoa schoolhouse we will be open again on Saturday, May 4. Come and see what we have accomplished.. The 95 year old Genoa Elementary School will be open then, too, for a last tour. Hope to see a crowd.

The 131 year old Genoa schoolhouse will be open May 4 from 9-11. The progress displays and the Richville memorabilia will be there for your viewing. This is the same time the 95 year old Genoa Elementary School will be open for a walk through.

The Perry History Club's next meeting will be March 25 at 6 pm. at the Perry Police Dept. Speaker will be Janelle Melanchenko from the Stark County Regional Planning Committee. Come for an informative program and join the Perry History Club in welcoming Janelle.

Cancelled... Welcome, welcome, welcome. Fasnaucht Night on Feb 13 6-7:30. We are making and selling Fashnachts on that Fat Tuesday evening. Also Trinity United Methodist Church will be having a bake sale. We would like all in the community to come and take a look at our renovated 1893 Genoa Schoolhouse at 539 Genoa Rd. SW. We have many projects to still accomplish but we can be open to the public. If you would like to join our group this is membership month. This will be the night to eat fashnachts, buy baked goods, join our group, donate to our projects, and celebrate with us our open schoolhouse.
Meeting tonight Perry History Club at Perry Police Dept @6 . Irving Berlin,a Great American Songwriter, will be the topic for Mr. Haldi. Business mtg will follow.
