Green Jeans Consignment

We have been trying to figure out how to best support our neighbors in Western North Carolina with our platform. The perfect opportunity has presented itself.

We know that WNC has received an insane amount of donated clothing but much of it is garbage. It's become a problem and overwhelming for volunteers handle. We helped develop a different plan because our mountain neighbors deserve better.

We are partnering with our friend and fellow sale owner, Anna Harrelson of Wee Trade Carolinas. Together, with the help of other local sale owners, we are creating a special holiday shopping experience where 100% of proceeds go to those hardest it by Hurricane Helene.

This event will not be focused on replacing items lost, rather on raising money for victims and providing affordable shopping for those who may have lost their income and stability due to the hurricane. These folks want to feel normal and dignified as they shop for others this holiday season. No handouts here, just an amazing hand UP!

NEW blankets or other gift items are acceptable

THINK GIFT WORTHY! THINK UNDER THE CHRISTMAS TREE! These should be items people would be proud to wrap up. Donated items do not need to have tags, but they should feel like new. Don't have a ton? Text your friends and neighbors and see if they have anything to donate!

One of our favorite parts of the sale is GIVING at the end.

We provide local non-profits beautiful clothing left at the end of our event. They turn it into free clothing and food for the less fortunate, job training and placement, empowering youth and those with special needs and promoting health and wellness through running programs and events.

The Christian Mission/Give Back Boutique
Give Back Boutique
In partnership with the Give Back Boutique (non-profit consignment shop), donated clothing from our sale is sold and turned into cash. These funds help support Mooresville Christian Mission’s community food pantry and programs including rent and utility assistance, senior companion programs and transportation services. We have been community partners for over 10 years!

Zab’s Place
ZABS Place
ZABS Place is a non-profit thrift boutique in Matthews, NC, serving as a thriving hub for young adults with special needs in the Charlotte area. They offer individualized training to empower these individuals, equipping them with valuable job and life skills to become key contributors to society. We have been community partners for over 10 years!

Lydia’s Loft
Operating as a non-profit clothing closet, Lydia’s Loft provides clothing to those in need, free of charge. Our clothing donation serves their clients who reside primarily in North Mecklenburg and Southern Iredell counties. They have been serving the community since 2004. Our partnership has been going on for 10+ years!

Access to Success
A2S is dedicated to playing its part to eliminate poverty and provide hope through education and opportunity in Nigeria. Their After School Academy was built to transform and empower the lives of Nigerian children through academics and athletics, increasing the percentage of students who achieve higher levels of education and thereby reducing poverty. The clothing we donate is given to the women and girls who attend the after school program.

One World Running
Co-owner, Cindy Williams’ son, Carson has been collecting running shoes to support One World Running. This non-profit collects, cleans and gives running shoes to those living in countries such as Guatemala, Cuba, Honduras and here in the US inside Rosebud Sioux Reservation. To promote its goal of bringing people closer together through running and promoting a healthy lifestyle, One World Running organizes run/walks in these countries in conjunction with the shoe distribution.

We also donate a percentage of our unsold inventory to Goodwill industries who uses their profits to support job training, job search support, and family stability services in our community.
