This morning our church body collectively meditated on God's mercy through the singing of music and the preaching of God's Word. May we continually be aware of God's rich and loving mercy that calls sinners to repentance and the church to forgive one another as God in Christ forgave our sins.

Thank you to all who joined us for 'A Night of Worship' this evening! We are confident that our songs of praise, hearing of God's Word, and prayers of repentance were a pleasing aroma lifted to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We are thankful for every soul that gathered with us this morning to worship the name of Jesus through song, giving, and the preaching of God's Word. We look forward to seeing you next week!

Eleven boys and girls, along with four adult chaperones, left today for Camp Caraway. Pray with us for their hearts to be open and that God would bring them closer to Him.

What an exciting week at First Baptist Matthews! Over 200 children are participating in our VBS event - Breaker Rock Beach. They are learning that God's truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love.

Over 30 of our senior adults and Pastor Cody enjoyed visiting the Billy Graham Library this week.

This morning, twenty-five of our youth and six adult chaperones left for Student Life Camp in Myrtle Beach, SC. During this week-long trip, pray with us that each student is transformed through the hearing and studying of God’s Word.
