Here's a few snowy pics from Shamrock
A little snow out here at Shamrock. Have a great weekend everybody!
With a heavy heart, we have decided not to open for the 2023 season. After 28 consecutive years, unforeseen circumstances have led to making this very difficult decision. A shortage of Fraser firs has made it difficult fulfilling our growing need for both quality and quantity precuts. Our largest field is nearly ready to be opened, but realistically needs one more growing season. We thank all of you have made our farm part of your yearly family tradition. All of us at Shamrock wish you a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the 2024 season.
The pumpkin patch will not be open this fall. The Christmas Tree Farm will be open day after Thanksgiving.
Sun barely visible through the smoke.

Planting 3500 Douglas fir this weekend. 1st pic is my father and I circa 1990. Pics from this weekend are me , my boys with me on the tractor with grandpa on the planter. 33 years and 3 generations
Many of the seasoned guys dressed like Joe today for laughs! He had quite the confused look on his face before realizing the joke, sure added a smile on his face and a good laugh! Great way to end the weekend.
We expected a delivery today of precut Fraser firs. Today has came and went and our trees never showed up. We have been trying to contact our supplier all day to no avail. We are hoping for a Christmas miracle at this point.
We still have plenty of Douglas fir to be cut growing in our fields, but the likelihood of racks filled with fresh, beautiful Fraser fir is dwindling. We are as disappointed as you are.
We will update with any new information
Pre-cut update:
The farm we are getting our precuts from just contacted us. Trees won't be shipped to us until late tomorrow or Saturday. Keep an eye on the weather, Saturday looks to rain and wind. As soon as I can confirm exactly when I will. Thanks
Looking like our precut delivery will be late Thursday. Around 750 or so Fraser firs are expected. Hoping to have the trees set up for Friday's open at 9am. I will update what sizes are getting delivered once it's finalized.
