Excellent video by Dr. Siegel using the hand model of the brain to understand what can happen when faced with a challenging feeling or thought. When we become aware and understanding of what is occurring in our brain, we can practice mindfulness to better regulate our responses. This can be particularly helpful for caregivers of children.
