Letcher County Water and Sewer District is one of the fastest growing water districts in the state. Since 2003 we have placed approximately 192 miles of water line, providing potable water service to an estimated 2,600 customers. It is the desire of the Letcher County Water and Sewer District to provide safe drinking water to all the residents of Letcher County.

Boil water advisory has been issued for Doty creek, Spring Branch, Adams Branch and Blair Branch and 7 south from Blair Branch to Doty creek.

You may experience a service interruption in the Doty creek area , contractors are changing out a main water line valve, service should be restored shortly.

Boil water advisory has been issued for upper sandlick, Cardinal drive and dry fork area and highway 3401 and crafts colley this includes all side roads off these areas.

Water line break on hurricane branch this is in the sandlick area this will effect water service and pressure in that area and crafts colley, repairs should be completed by 9am in the morning.

📢 **Notice of Water Service Interruption: January 30, 2024**
Dear residents,
Please be advised that there will be a temporary interruption in water service from Big Blue Blvd to Daniels Branch on January 30 2024, starting around 8 AM. This interruption is expected to last for 3-4 hours due to the installation of the Sackett Loop water line. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
