Our weekly meetings feature guest speakers/programs from the community who speak about issues important to the area.
It's common for the McAllen mayor or other city official to stop by. We have also had state and national leaders visit us as well, but our speakers don't always have to be government officials.
Interesting guest speakers/programs have included boot makers, tequila tasting, pro athletes, astronomy lessons, ballet dancers and many others.
