Meet Sharkey! 🤖 Today our Seahorse Pre-K friends took a vote to name their new robot friends. We learned about how we can make the world a better place and Sharkey was built with all recycled materials from our school!

Tomorrow is National Sunglasses day! Celebrate with us by wearing your favorite pair of sunglasses to school! 👓

Dear Honey Creek Parents,

Due to the heat advisory for tomorrow we are going to have to cancel water day outside, BUT to help the students still experience the fun that comes with water play we are going to bring some water activities to the classroom! (Summer Camp will not be included in this since their water days are on Thursdays.)

Please bring your child in an outfit that is ok with getting wet. Also please bring an extra pair of clothes for them to change into along with a towel.

If your child does not have these items, they will not be able to participate. Water activities will take place during your child’s scheduled outside time but in the classroom.

Tomorrow is Splash Day. Please come to school ready to play in the water! Each class will have some fun water play in the morning outside time. Remember to bring a towel, wear water shoes, and bring a change of clothes for after play. If potty training please bring a swim diaper.

The Goddard School of Alexandria (Old Town), VA, is now open! Congratulations to owners Akhil and Madhu Govil. This is the fourth location for the co-owners, who also own The Goddard School of Ashburn, The Goddard School of Ashburn Leesburg, and The Goddard School of Waldorf.

As owners & grandparents, their goal is to continue to provide a foundation of learning to all the young children in Alexandria who are the beacon of the great future. They are excited for the opportunity and look forward to serving the Old Town Alexandria community.

Congratulations to the wonderful Mrs. Inez on reaching her 1 year anniversary at Honey Creek. We cannot thank you enough for the love and care you show to our infant friends everyday. We look forward for many years to come with you and our little ones.
