We are a single doctor EP practice looking for an experienced Medical Scribe.

We are looking for a new medical scribe who is professional, punctual, diligent, and has the ability to multitask. Our ideal candidate should have:

• at least one year of experience as a medical scribe or comparable experience in healthcare

• currently enrolled in a 4-year university/college program, or graduated with a bachelor's degree

• experience with EClinicalWorks is preferred

• familiarity with medical terminology is preferred

• commitment for at least 2 years is preferred

• experience with Microsoft Office is preferred

• Spanish-speaking applicants are encouraged to apply!

Busy cardiologist office seeking a dependable medical assistant for a full time position. Looking for medical assistant with eclinical experience but not a must. Locations in McKinney and Dallas.

Job responsibilities but not limited to: Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vitals. Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician. Record patients' medical history, vitals, or information such as test results in medical records. Collect blood laboratory specimens and prepare them for testing. Help physician with physical exams. Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat, clean and sanitized. Schedule appointments for patients. Greet and log in patients arriving at clinic. Contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests or procedures. Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones, checking faxes and emails. Operate electrocardiogram (EKG), or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests such as holters and event monitors.

Salary based on experience. Willing to train. Medical insurance, paid time off and 401K included in benefits.
