As a part of our commitment to providing comprehensive mental health care, I am pleased to inform you about an innovative treatment option available at exult healthcare.
Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS).

dTMS is a non-invasive, FDA-approved therapy designed to assist individuals experiencing conditions such as major depressive disorder (MDD) when other treatments have not provided the desired relief. This therapy involves the use of magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain associated with mood regulation, offering a promising avenue for those seeking an alternative or adjunct to traditional treatments.

Key points about dTMS:

1. **Non-Invasive Procedure:** dTMS does not require surgery or anesthesia. The treatment involves placing an electromagnetic coil against the scalp to deliver magnetic pulses.

2. **Efficacy:** Research indicates that dTMS may significantly reduce symptoms of depression in individuals who have not adequately responded to other treatments.

3. **Minimal Side Effects:** Common side effects are generally mild and include scalp discomfort or mild headaches, which often resolve shortly after the treatment.

4. **Treatment Course:** A typical course of dTMS consists of multiple sessions over several weeks, with each session lasting about 20-40 minutes.

5. **Supervised by Professionals:** Our trained healthcare team closely monitors each session to ensure safety and effectiveness.

It is a great modality of treatment for those experiencing symptoms of depression that have not responded to other treatments,
To explore dTMS as a potential therapy option, I encourage you to schedule a consultation with our team. During this consultation, we can discuss your individual needs, assess whether dTMS is a suitable option for you, and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Please feel free to contact us at
972-369-4220 to schedule an appointment or to obtain further information about dTMS therapy.

So many of us were shocked to hear of the loss of Stephen "Twitch" Boss. Whether you first came across him as the DJ on the Ellen Show, on SYTYCD, or fell in love with his videos on Tik Tok; he seemed to have a permanent smile on his face and often was dancing. The idea that someone who was always smiling and dancing could have struggled with mental illness have led to thousands of shocked reactions and comments on social media that they cannot believe it.

The reality is mental illness does not discriminate. Mental illness does not have a "look." The stigma surrounding mental illness can cause us to believe someone like Twitch could not have ever struggled with his mental health and lead us to overlook a loved one in need. The reality is that we still have much work to do to ensure that every person with a mental health disorder can access the clinical treatment they need however, there are resources. There is help.

If you find yourself struggling, don’t leave us. There is help. This world is hard and it’s never been easier to pretend it's not. If you think you shouldn’t be struggling, if you think you are all alone, if you think you have to shine or have it all together to matter … it’s not true. It is okay to not be okay. It is okay to need help. You are not alone.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis help is available, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If you or someone you know is needing assistance, please call the crisis hotline at 1-877-466-0660. We are here for you. If you are outside of our service area call or text the su***de and crisis hotline by dialing 988 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There is help. Stay with us.
