Scott Stokely Disc Golfer stopped by the store on Sunday for about an hour to promote his new discs, the Owl, the Wren and the Cardinal. Several customers got pictures with a definite disc golf legend. He is a very nice guy and was very interesting to talk to. Man, the dude is TALL! Trinity Falls Disc Golf Update

I ran into the General Manager of the City of McKinney team responsible for the Trinity Falls development while playing the course yesterday. Nick and Nathan Fisher and their guys were working with him on what looked like a fence job. Anyway, I took the opportunity to ask him when the bridge connecting I-75 to the disc golf course would be open since it will make access much quicker and nicer. He said it looks like LATE SEPTEMBER is the likely time frame for it to be open, although he hedged that to say it could be delayed if unexpected things come up. I for one am looking forward to it opening since I play there all the time. Just thought I'd pass along the info since a lot of people have been wondering... Doug

The UPS ship delivered a BOATLOAD of Innova Discs to us today. Lotsa I-Dye's, U-Dyes and other colorful things of beauty. We might have even got in a lot of discs that won't release till next week. Who's to say. Come check it out!...

Town Lake is PLAYABLE!! Pretty much all of the water is gone, even hole 12 that is usually a mud pit has dried up almost completely. There are limbs and branches down in many places, but it looks like players have moved them out of the way because there are no blocked holes. Definitely some new lines available (see hole 1...). Have fun!!!
