VOTE!!!
Excelling in what you do is important in any job.
I competed 3 times, in the North American Inspectors Competition. Each time I participated, I learned something new about my job and shared that information with my agency and co-workers.
Never stop learning, never stop doing your best.
Highway Safety was a mission of the State Patrol. I spent many hours in Kindergarten classrooms each year, teaching children about the need to wear a safety belt.
"If I am elected to the Taylor County Board, I will do my best to make decisions that are in the best interest of the citizens of Taylor County. Over the past two years, I have watched as our federal and state governments make decisions that have filtered down to us on a local level. I believe our county board would benefit from new voices and new ideas, and I hope you will vote for me on April 5th, 2022 to bring changes to our community that benefit OUR citizens.
Leadership, planning, perseverance, hard work, and having a positive attitude are all qualities that I have and were recognized in this article from the Prairie du Chien Courier Press.
The article mentions the Prairie du Chien Skateboard park that actually cost approximately $120,000. It was years of planning, fundraising and hard work. I had the honor of working with a special group of people to finally build this park. It is beautiful and will be enjoyed in Prairie du Chien for many years.

In 1993, one of our Calumet County deputies was killed by a man operating under the influence while driving a farm tractior. The Sheriff's Department asked the State Patrol to handle the investigation. This was an unusual case. I coordinated the investigation which involved several agencies, the medical examiner, an out of state expert, numerous officers from my department and the District Attorney's office. The investigation resulted in a conviction of the subject.
This letter was written by the Chief of Police of New Holstien, thanking me for handling the investigation.
Getting to know the candidate:
In 1992, I was assigned the job of co-chairperson on the Traffic and Security committee of the 1993 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days. I was the State Patrol representative, attending committee meetings, working with the Farm Technology Days board as a whole and the affected parties of the Traffic and Security committee specifically. The process started at least 18 months prior to the event. I was involved in the planning and creation of our plan and was the on-site supervisor of all traffic officers. It was a successful show.
