SMFA Part-time lecturers (PTLs) continue to face the threat of salary cuts. It’s CLEAR Tufts administration does not respect these valued instructors and community members. Part-Time Faculty will continue their bargaining process to fight for the salary increases they DESERVE! Tufts is serving frozen outsourced goods and taking advantage of workers. Sign the petition to support the demands of the workers and students!

Since 2019, Tufts Dining has reduced its baking staff from five bakers to two, and began outsourcing baked goods like cookies and cakes, risking the integrity of allergen regulations for these goods and taking jobs from our community members. Tufts facilities workers are still negotiating a fair contract with Tufts administration. On Wednesday, July 13th from 3:30-5:00pm, workers, union members, and students will be rallying outside of Curtis Hall. Show Tufts administration that students and workers are united for fair wages across our community. When we fight, we win!

Senior René Jameson is organizing an end-of-year thank you gift for Tufts dining workers! The goal is for the community to come together and raise funds to provide all 193 full-time and part-time Tufts dining workers (not including student workers) with gift cards and thank you notes. All funds raised will be evenly distributed amongst dining workers. Please donate! Donations will be accepted until Sunday, May 15th.
