Participants will work in groups with six to eight other first-years and two upperclassmen leaders in the Medford/Somerville area.

First-Year Orientation Community Service (FOCUS) is a pre-orientation program that brings together an AMAZING group of over 250 incoming first-years and current students to do community service work in the Medford/Somerville/Boston areas! The five-day service trips into the greater Boston area allow students to explore the area surrounding Tufts and are an incredible way to launch your new career as a Jumbo.
